Jalisa Lynn, a native of Sanford, FL, is an accomplished content strategist with over 8 years of experience in the communications field ranging from technology, corporate and non-profit. Jalisa graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2014, receiving a B.S. in Mass Communications (Public Relations). While at VCU, she completed a number of internships in her field with companies like Snagajob, Virginia Lottery, and VCU. Gaining that vital experience early allowed her to land a job in her field, just 3 months after graduating. As a Digital Marketing Coordinator for MedStar Health, she gained a great deal of knowledge in social media, website management, analytics, and more. Jalisa also served as the Marketing Associate at George Washington University School of Business and pursed her masters degree in Interdisciplinary Business – Digital Marketing Communications & Marketing & Brand Management. Today, she’s working at her dream company Google, as a Senior Content Strategist for Youtube. Her passion has always revolved around helping people.
